Can you run the line set out the side of the air handler and then bring it down and go to the outside to use up some of that length so I won't have to flare it?
How did you connect the electric to the indoor unit with it already mounted on the wall
umm 5:41 that ground looks like crap, sorry

Can anyone tell me what the little white roll of cloth is for that comes with these Mitsubishi head units? It's in the bag with the manuals and the remote. I've had two different contractors install these at different times, and both just left me with them. I have no idea what to do with them.
Not a DYI.
Do you have a video on how to repair them? Such as lost of cold air.
My dad wanted to get a small portable AC and I said that now adays they sell real split air conditioners for under 1000 bucks and that I would gladly come and install it with him. This video confirms what I imagined what the install would be like just looking at the unit. If we get the electricity ready in advance Im sure we can start after lunch and be ready by dinner time.
This guy made that complete installation look soooo Easy…..hes probably installed like 100 of these.
“Idiot proof”? Im colour blind and have trouble distinguishing wires. Perhaps the only idiot is you thinking everybody can see colour.
How much does all this usely cost
Good video but Not quite DIY ( for me ).

That’s some pitiful electrical work. Puts the stranded wires under a screw without a crimp on connector
That is that not how seal tite conduit goes together either. You don’t just push it on. He also didn’t valve off the vacuum at the port. No sleeve or sealing of the hole. No proper tightening of the flare. Overall butcher job. This is why you should do it yourself.
Nice work gentlemen.
When did the communication wire get fished through the carflex/liquidTight?
There's an old saying, "A person that represents himself in court, has a fool for a lawyer." Have a professional install it!
How much will this cost cause summer in Texas is no joke
Thanks
Just what I wanted to know.
I may be wrong but for some reason I feel the split system is less efficient could someone possibly correct me if I'm wrong?
You absolutely want to use a pipe bender on that soft copper. If you're a diy person DEFINITELY do NOT try what he just did on that copper line.
Easy.
Hello
Dear ,sir we buy a month ago new split unit, model no, 18hfaa b, sir our indoor bottom sticker printed r410a refrigerant but outdoor unit print r32 refrigerant, i don't know how is possible, dealer mistake ?,
Is that ok or we need to change outdoor r410a refrigerant same as shown and print on indoor unit, please answer,
One compressor for 2 vents???
Do you recomend insulating brick walls for better faster cooldown of the designated room???
I would love to have a professional come install one of these in my shed, but I assume they would need a permit and then the city would know my shed roof is taller than ordinances allow and that I put up a 7 foot tall fence without a permit. = (
I've been considering doing this as well in my garage, is it necessary to insulate and drywall the exterior CBS wall?
Outdoor unit should be slightly above the indoor unit level….is it correct??
I thought you just mounted the unit on a wall and that's it. Obviously that's not the case.
Where’s the nylog glue on the compression fittings?
但
The HVAC tech was on point !
Mitsubishi air condition is best choice , not LG
Didn't show the plumbing connection to the outside unit, or routing electricity from breaker to unit or what size breaker fuse was needed.
After watching a couple of TOH videos about mini-split systems I now know why installation costs are so high. That is a lot of work putting in one of these systems and what it means to have qualified installers. Thank you.
good work
i want to work with u me also ac technition
Thanks for the video =)
whats the approx cost of this job?
Most warranties aren't covered unless you get an hvac person to vacuum the lines. There are some models for diy that don't need vacuuming. The outside hole must be 1/2 inch lower than inside so water won't freeze in winter. You have to know what size circuit breaker to use. Should have put special lube on fittings. There are better videos.
Installed one my camper. Dummy proof. Plus they come pre charged.
Awesome!!!! Thank you guys! God blessed you☺️
Now install a incandescent light bulb, middle of your home.
i had a multi-unit system for my row home here in philly. Gettting it installed professionally is what makes it so expensive. But ducts weren't an option cause it would have required all the walls to be removed. Its great though, can even use them in the winter if youd like. They heat as well as cool
How did you bend the line coming out the back of indoor unit? Do you just grab the line and turn it 90 degrees? Hopefully it doesn't kink…
That hole has to be 4 3/4 inches away from the bracket not right next to it. And what about that piece or rebar in the hole?
Shouldn’t you open both valves at 6:10 one for liquid line and one for vapor line
