Prof. Gensler is a tremendous addition to the US government. His career in Goldman Sacks for 18 years, his role in the gov. During the Obama administration and his current position at MIT makes him an extremely qualified candidate for such position. There is no doubt to how much support he will be giving the fintech, AI & ML industry in the US and how healthy this will be to the financial markets! Really happy to hear the news. Congrats Prof. Gensler and congrats to the US government.
Its pretty clear that discrimination based on algos is a reality. What would you do to an algo that selects the best payers? "Algo I forbid you to optimize more and make us a profitable company, green marsians are as good as humans".
